- God created a universe to display the glory of his grace.
- So all should act in a way that draws attention to this glory.
- The obedience and service of God's people is most glorifying when they are most dependent on his grace.
- Praying for God's help is perhaps the key way God preserves and maintains the dependence of his people on this grace and power.
- When the Spirit prompts and directs our prayer, the ultimate purpose of the universe is therefore fulfilled. God is glorified for his grace: the Father for initiating his reconciling work, the Son for purchasing it, and the Spirit for leading us to benefit from it.
